Meet Brighid Power, Ed.D.

Coach. Advocate. Educator.

I am a Career Strategist based in Philadelphia. I have coached over 1,000 unique job seekers from across the world, working with clients from entry- to VP-level clients. I specialize in the education, government, non-profit, business, and tech/engineering sectors, but have worked with job seekers of all backgrounds.

I come from an education background and hold a doctorate degree in higher education. I am passionate about equity and inclusion which informs my approach to supporting job seekers. I love coaching people to pursue their wildest visions through overcoming imposter syndrome and making courageous leaps.

I currently work at Indeed as a Career Strategist, providing guidance to job seekers from around the world.

My Story

I found my way into career coaching through navigating many of my own career transitions. Like so many, I lived through many unexpected career challenges, including burnout, toxic management, and a layoff during maternity leave.

With each leap of faith, I have arrived at a place where I can tie together my interests in teaching, career coaching, research, and advocacy. My background as an educator has given me the ability to not just offer career support, but to teach others the tools and skills that are needed to make a career pivot.
